A rural twist at the London Festival of Britain
As many of you will know, at Snugburys we are not only famous for our delicious ice cream! We have also been known to create a few fabulous straw creations over the years!
Towards the end of 2010, we were contacted by the team at the London Southbank Centre, with regards to the up and coming 60th anniversary of the festival of Britain. They had seen some of the straw creations we had showcased here at Snugburys and were keen for us to be involved in the event!
On Tuesday 3rd May 2011, Cheryl Sadler and daughter Cleo Sadler travelled down to London to attend the opening of the event, which featured the “Urban Fox” – created out of straw bales by Pirate Technics.
